School started last Thursday!!!!!! I was so scared that I wouldn't like it, and that I wouldn't know anybody, but then I realized that I was crazy and that it would just be the same people from last year!! Haha! silly me, right? :D :P :)
Anyway, I really like school because I have friends in every class and on the bus, and I sit with all my friends at lunch! yay!! The classes are gonna be a little bit harder, but I think I can handle it...except for maybe algebra 1..oooh that's gonna be really mean to me.
That's about it, it's pretty uneventful here...

sis. mings party!!
On Friday, one of our YW leaders had a sleepover at her house. I wasn't expecting to do anything but hi-lights to my hair...but sis. Ming cut side bangs in my hair!! i'm sooo happy!!!! i'm going to miss the Mings when they move...on the first day of school so it's a VERY sad day on Aug. 14th!!
Another good thing at sis. Mings was that our very awesome and amazing leaders took us at MIDNIGHT to get the amazing book BREAKING DAWN!! it's sooo awesome!!! :P it was a good thing that our leaders wanted to read it too.... Me, Sarah, Alex, and Lanae stayed up all night reading it!! seriously!! no sleep at all!! we read until breakfast...and i woke up at 7 the morning before!! i'm exhausted!!! oh well, it was worth it!

July 3rd
hee hee!!! I kinda made the posts out of order...oh well!!
Anyway, on July 3rd, Riley, Jared, Sarah, and I got Dentist appointments. My mom is NOT happy at all with our results...heehee....Riley, Jared, and Sarah each got one cavity...and Sarah has an extra tooth...but that's not bad.... Me, I guess I REALLY need to cut down on the sugar because I got THREE cavities....that's what my mom was mad at...haha. I'll be better...I promise!!
Before the dentist appointments, I had a doctors app. for my back....They seriously rushed us in, and rushed us out...I think we were only there for like a 1/2 hour! Anyway, they took me in for an x-ray, and when we came back I was SCARED. My spine was like doing curvey-zig-zags! AHH!! But the Doctor said I didn't need a brace or anything...and it's never gonna get better or worse...but I think that it was a whole waste because if we went all they way there and spent money for him to tell me that I was fine, then...ugh. Oh, well, at least we don't need to worry anymore!! :P :D :)

4th of July!!
Our family went to Independence, MO for the 4th of July...actually it was a church history trip...but it was during the 4th!! We saw lots of cool things. (I PROMISE I will post pics later!!!!....they aren't downloaded yet!!) Well, we were sitting in our little spot...Mom wanted to get better seats, but Dad insisted that we stay where we were...and it turned out that he was right!! All we had to do was look straight ahead...and we had the PERFECT view!! Even though they didn't do any smiley or heart shaped fireworks, they were all pretty amazing. My favorite fireworks are the ones that make your whole body vibrate when they BOOM!! It was soo fun!!!
(Like I said, pix are coming!!! we got some pix of the RLDS, or the Community of Christ, temple thingy...it was awesome!! :P :D :) )

babysitting
I've been babysitting soooo much lately!! I watched the Thompson's for like 6 hrs...for 2 days!! (6 hrs each day!) and the Heinigs, for like 4 hrs...and while the parents had a shoot thing, Marisa and I watched 6 kids for a couple hours!! I was supposed to watch a baby today, but it was raining and the plans got cancled....=/
I know it's really short...but that's really all that's happening!!! :P

Doctors and doctors and doctors, oh my!! ;)
Wow. It's going to be soo crazy this week!!
MONDAY
Riley, Jared, and me had an orthodontist appointment. We found out that Riley (of course) has perfect teeth. Jared and me could use braces, but we're not decided on that yet.
TUESDAY (today)
Riley and me had a doctors appointment. Riley has a foot problem, and I have a little of the same thing, but not as bad. Other than that, Riley's perfect, and I almost am...
A couple of days ago, we were swimming, and I didn't really want to go, but I decided that it would be nice to jump in the pool...and it's a good thing I did, otherwise my parents might not have noticed. Apparently, I have a curve in my spine. My parents never really noticed before...but it's really noticable now. So, Mom got me in as soon as she could, and the doctor confirmed (hee hee that's a big word ;) ) that I have scoliosis. Wonderful, right? yea..no. It's never hurt me before, but the Doctor says it needs taken care of ASAP. I guess it runs in the family. I'm not reallllly worried, but I don't like the idea of a bent back!
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY
Riley, Jared, and me have Ortho. appointments again.
JULY 3RD
10:30-- I have a back thing...to see if I need a brace or something.
2:00--We all get our teeth cleaned.
So, we are VERY busy...and I'm not looking forward to any of it. It's summer! I wanna have fun!! Well, I can't wait till it's over!!

camp
Well, I said that I would write about camp on Sunday, but I got home a little earlier than I thought....so here goes!!
I really wish that I had pictures, but I forgot a camera...oops!!!!
Anyway, camp was so fun!!! We got there on Wednesday, and we had a little "get to know you" game. All we had to do was talk to people, and doing that didn't really help much, because the people I talked to didn't end up being my friends anyway, but later on I made such good friends!!
WEDNESDAY
It wasn't all that fun on Wednesday because we were just getting used to the camp and stuff...and we were pretty busy. We had classes and stuff, and those classes actually taught me a lot.
THURSDAY
Thursday was SO much better! I actually had a couple more friends, and they are awesome!! We went on a hike that day, it was about 2 hours...we drove up to the lake, but then we hiked a trail right by it...it was very green. I almost fell a couple times because we went off trail and climbed some rocks, but I had a great time. When we were driving back, we saw the group of first-years walking up to the lake...tee hee! They looked tired and we kind of felt bad....but they all got back in one piece!
FRIDAY
I think Friday was the best day, only because we had Testimony Meeting...that is my favorite part about camp. Apparently we were there for about 2 1/2 hours...but it didn't feel like it at all! I got up and bore my testimony...I had all of this stuff planned out, but right as I got up there, I kinda forgot, and I just said things...lol. Yes, I cried. But my favorite part was when my friend Brandey gave her testimony....it was awesome. She was only baptized last year and she loves the church. Her cousins are really mean to her, and it makes me sad. Everytime they do something to her, she looks really sad. But when Brandey's cousin got sick, she was always checking on her and making sure she was okay, and when her cousing left, she cleaned up her bunk and made her bed, just because she wanted to be nice to her. I was amazed, she is such a good person!! I asked her why she did that, and she said, "Well, doesn't our church say that even if people are mean to you, we should still be nice back?" Wow. That was a REALLY good answer. Anyway, =), In her testimony, she said, "In all of the other churches I've been to, I didn't feel anything at all. But when I came here last year, I felt the Spirit, and I felt like Heavenly Father was right beside me the whole time. I know this church is true" Grrr! she made me cry!! Well, Brandey is an amazing person! luv ya Brandey!!
There is also a helper there, his name is Brother Temple....(Harry) and every single time he talks, he brings the Spirit...it's pretty cool...=D he got up and I couldn't help but cry, he's just awesome. All of the Young Women have a song for him....it is,
"We love you Harry,
Oh, yes we do!
We love you Harry,
And we'll be true.
When you're not with us,
We're blue!
Oh, Harry, we love you!!"
hee hee! I like that song!!
So, all in all, camp was awesome!! I can't wait till next year, and I'll be a 3rd year!! yay!!
